Introduction

Yotoplay is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We recognize our responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking and are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities and supply chains.

This statement sets out Yotoplay's actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to our business and to implement steps to prevent slavery and human trafficking during the financial year.

Our Organizational Structure

Yotoplay designs and distributes innovative play products for children and families. We operate globally with supply chains extending across multiple countries.

Our business is organized into key operational areas including product development, manufacturing partnerships, marketing, and distribution.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include:

  • Manufacturing partners for electronic components and toys
  • Raw material suppliers for plastic, paper, and electronic components
  • Packaging suppliers
  • Logistics and distribution partners
  • Software development and technology partners

We recognize that certain sectors and regions present higher risks of modern slavery, and we are committed to addressing these risks proactively.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

We have implemented the following policies that incorporate principles against modern slavery:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct: Sets out the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers
  • Whistleblowing Policy: Enables employees to report concerns without fear of retaliation
  • Recruitment Policy: Includes robust vetting procedures to prevent human trafficking
  • Corporate Social Responsibility Policy: Commits to ethical business practices throughout our operations

Due Diligence Processes

We have established due diligence processes to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our business
  • Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains

Our due diligence includes supplier audits, risk assessments, and regular reviews of our supply chain practices.

Risk Assessment and Management

We have identified the following areas as potentially higher risk:

  • Manufacturing partners in regions with less robust labor protections
  • Temporary and seasonal workers in our distribution centers
  • Subcontracted labor in our supply chain

We are taking steps to address these risks through enhanced due diligence, contract requirements, and ongoing monitoring.

Measuring Effectiveness

We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:

  • Completion of audits by our suppliers
  • Number of suppliers reviewed for modern slavery risks
  • Training and awareness programs completed by staff
  • Reports received through our whistleblowing procedure

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff.

We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.
