Supply Chain Transparency
Yoto is committed to ethical trading, responsible sourcing, and preventing modern slavery in all our supply chains.
Introduction from the Board of Directors
It continues to be a priority for Yoto Inc. to ensure that we trade ethically, source responsibly and work to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking throughout our organization and supply chain. This statement highlights the key activities undertaken during this financial year, including independent third-party audits and contractual obligations on suppliers to comply with relevant modern slavery legislation.
Organization's Structure
We are a manufacturer and distributor of hardware and software in the children’s audio market. Yoto employs over 180 people worldwide and operates in the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Singapore, and Australia.
Our Business
Our activities include procurement of goods and components, outsourced manufacturing of audio hardware, distribution globally, and production and licensing of software and audio content via our platform.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include sourcing manufacturing services for finished goods and R&D services from China and North America, and distributing products via regional hubs to consumers worldwide.
Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking
We maintain robust policies to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. Policies are regularly reviewed and include our Anti-Corruption & Bribery Policy and Ethical Sourcing Policy.
Due Diligence
We require manufacturing partners to undergo annual Ethical Trading Audits (Sedex SMETA 2P, RBA VAP) and include auditing rights in contracts. Systems are in place to identify, mitigate, and monitor potential risks, while protecting whistleblowers.
Supplier Adherence
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for slavery and human trafficking. Our Supply Chain Compliance Program, led by cross-department teams, ensures all suppliers and contractors adhere to our ethics. Staff and partners receive mandatory training.
Effectiveness
Independent third parties review our effectiveness in preventing slavery and human trafficking in all business operations and supply chains. This statement covers the financial year ending 31 December 2024 and was approved by the board on 12 June 2025.
